EVEN SPARROWS ARE SEEN

The story of our name comes from our founder, Nancy Langer.

My childhood was not ideal by any means.

Like many other children, I too survived life-altering events.

The effects of my experiences definitely took a toll. If you listen and watch closely, you may hear and see the imprint those events have left on my heart and my mind.

However, those imprints do not overshadow
the healing and restoration still evolving in my life.
Like many other children, I spent much of my childhood seeking my identity.
I had a Bible where all Jesus' spoken words were written in red.

I read it searching for God's identity
while simultaneously looking for mine.
"Does God even see me?", was the question I desperately sought to have answered.
The Gospels of Matthew and Luke directly answered my pressing inquiry.
God KNOWS the sparrows.
God knows me too. He does see me after all.
This is how our name came to be.
We want infants, children, teens and young adults who are experiencing foster care

or those who have experienced foster care to KNOW,

without a doubt, they are seen, well-loved and designed to do amazing things!
Through no fault of their own, these children are marginalized. Their dignity has been taken,

self-esteem diminished, and they are robbed of the opportunity to make choices for themselves.

Then fear and hopelessness sets in.
Many children and teens experiencing foster care ask themselves if anyone sees them.
We are here to encourage, equip and empower these sweet sparrows.
Come see what a difference their stories will have on yours.
Matthew 10:29-31 and Luke 12:4-7
